Talk about - “Cyber-shot RX100” - Power in Your Pocket

Now a day,to be convenience our daily using stuff are become smaller and smaller. One good example such as cell phone it’s was from a big size stuff become a gadget and now become more comfortable size phone, which built-in with a user friendly size screen, it’s what we call it “smart phone” with allot of function or apps. Camera, same as the cell phone trends and continuously development of the optical and digital zooms technology, made camera been transform from a sliding wooden box camera become a digital camera. As well as a compact camera which have more high-tech and compact function than the society not able to imagine it?

Today we defined a compact camera by the size of their sensors, with the advance technology of a large 1.0 type CMOS sensor (13.2 x 8.8mm) with a resolution of 20.2 effective megapixels and F1.8 Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T* 3.6x optical zoom lens, Sony had made such a first compact digital camera “Cyber-shot RX100” in the world. Such a compact camera carries with a “big sensor and bright lens for better pictures in a pocket-sized body” it’s really “Power in Your Pocket” a convenience and portable light and handy compact camera (approximately 240g with battery & memory card).

Why Sony able to develop such a compact digital camera? This was due to they have a good R&D team, which make impossible to possible. One of the designers Miyashita (Body Design) said “we decided to give it a minimalistic two-dimensional look, and wanted the camera to look simple”. Although there are some tough challenge to make the camera in this small, but the team fight and break thru all the barriers, finally they get what they want.

Currently I own a Sony Alpha 35 DSLT. I carries it during my travel period, attend some event and I had fully utilised my Sony Alpha 35 to take picture and record video. This DSLT has made me able to record my memorable period with high quality picture and video, which all this outcome you able to see from my blog. Besides travelling and attending event, I also like outdoor activity such as hiking and jogging (marathon). Although I able to carry my DSLT for hiking and jogging, but it’s not comfortable for me. This is because I need to carry at least 415g (body only), due to the weight of DSLT it could be one of the barriers caused me not able to enjoy the hiking and jogging progress while carrying the DSLT. With “Cyber-shot RX100”it able to made my travel even outdoor activity lighten, that I can take it to anywhere, anytime, so I can’t missing those golden photo opportunities. As what Kureishi (Product Planning) said “if you prefer a shooting style less encumbered by gear and still want to take great shots, “Cyber-shot RX100” is for you”.

“Cyber-shot RX100” gives me another choice that makes me able to taking better photos during my outdoor activity. Due to Sony keep the size to minimum, thus I able to carry “Cyber-shot RX100” along with me daily, I could bring it to my company team building, friends dinner, family trip, even during marathon and etc, as it could be easily keep in my pocket. “Cyber-shot RX100” it’s really a compact camera able to hide in consumers pocket and it colourizes our daily life & makes us more memorable.
